The paper is thick enough that my fountain pen doesn't bleed through, which was my main worry. I've been using it for dungeon maps on one page and session notes on the next, and the pen that came with it writes smoother than I expected.
The paper handles ink well with no bleed-through even when I draw detailed dungeon maps. Having a dedicated pen in the cover makes it easy to jot down ideas mid-session. Perfect for keeping my campaign notes organized and legible.
The little pen loop inside the cover is a nice touch, so I'm not digging around my bag for a pen mid-session. I've been using it for character backstories and the pages don't bleed through when I press hard.
